ELT:  SHARING INNOVATIVE IDEAS AND EXPERIENCE

It will be organized by the Department of English of the Faculty of Education of the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem and hosted by the Faculty of Education of the University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně , České mládeže 8, Ústí nad Labem .

This conference will offer a rich programme of plenary sessions, presentations, talks, workshops and poster presentations designed for teachers at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels of education. The main aim of the conference is to continue developing a forum for sharing current views, new trends, innovative ideas and experience in English language teaching and learning. We wish to invite both native and non-native speaking teachers of English, teachers of various backgrounds who want to share their ideas and knowledge with other conference participants or demonstrate their achievements. A conference of this type also offers a good opportunity for all participants to exchange experience and set up networks among teachers and schools. This conference also aims at initiating and sustaining meaningful professional dialogue among teachers of English across national boundaries.

The key note speaker on this conference will be Mr. Herbert Puchta , the President of IATEFL (International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language). He will also have several practical workshops. Herbert Puchta is the author of Playway to English 2nd edition, Join Us for English (both for primary students), MORE! (for lower-secondary students) or English in Mind with special Czech edition Maturita in Mind especially designed for Czech Maturita B1 exam.
